Support Raising Us

We know documentary films are one of the most powerful tools for social change.

70% of people say a documentary has changed their perspective on an issue.

A Tool for Change

Now more than ever, visual storytelling can reach hearts and minds in ways words alone cannot.

RAISING US is a mission-driven, social impact documentary—made possible entirely through community support. All contributions are tax-deductible through our 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas, which has helped artists create meaningful impact for over 30 years.

Because of this model, we can bring the film directly to the communities where it matters most—at no cost to schools, nonprofits, and community organizations.

Together with our growing network of impact partners, we will use this film to educate, empower, and connect people around disability inclusion, parenting, and advocacy.

Why Your Support Matters Now

To bring this story to the screen in 2026, we need your support today.

We are currently working toward our rough cut, a critical milestone that unlocks partnerships, endorsements, and broader distribution opportunities—helping us maximize the film’s reach and impact.

More Than a Film

RAISING US is more than a documentary—it’s a catalyst for understanding, connection, and change.

Through our impact campaign, we will share the film nationwide with families, educators, and community organizations—spotlighting the realities, challenges, and triumphs of raising children with disabilities.

1 in 5 U.S. families is raising a child with a developmental or intellectual disability. Yet these experiences—and the advocacy shaping more inclusive communities—often go unseen.

Parents in this community face higher levels of stress, financial strain, and social isolation. Still, their leadership has been instrumental in advancing inclusive policies, education, and support systems.

This film brings those stories forward—to expand awareness, spark meaningful dialogue, and inspire action.
